Budokai Moochizuki was established by sensei Sydney Arous in the year '81 after he came to Israel from France in the year before.
He started out in the youth club "Bet Lavon" in Ashdod, but after two years changed to Moshav Asheret and continuasly to moshav Bnaia where he still is training.

The name Moochizuki refers to sensei Arous's teacher sensei Moochizuki Hiroo. In his honor sensei Arous called his club in his name.

This year (2002) he managed to add a group from kibutz Hapets Hayim also in the area of Ashdod.

In Bnaia are training about 50 students enthousiaistically and in Hapetz Hayim about 20.
